Lee stood in the doorway and just watched as Amanda finally got some much needed rest. 

He couldn’t help but notice just how tired she looked. Their latest adventure lasted for more than 36 straight hours and he marveled at just how well his lovely wife handled it.  He was just happy it was finally over. Of all of the assignments he worked nothing in his training prepared him for this one.

The faint sound from inside the room caught his attention and Lee quietly went to its source before Amanda awoke.

“Hey, Jenny bear, don’t cry, Daddy’s here.” Lee whispered ready to embark on the greatest adventure of his life.
